The 75th Reunion held last Sunday 3rd of May was a wonderful event marking 75 years of history and friendships.
The 2009 Board was introduced and congratulated
- Neil Coster spoke of FHC achievements
- Head coaches Mark Whinney (Assistant Darryl Jahnke) and Glenn Lloyd (Assistant Bobbie Skilton) presented the State League Men and Women with their new FHC playing shirts (and assisted with lunch service)
- Alby Speed talked on behalf of all the life members and presented Rodney Johnstone and Greg Hopkins with their life member medallions
- Eileen Scott was presented with replacement ‘94, ‘95 Best and Fairest Trophies after losing her house in the Black Saturday fires
- Darryl Jahnke was presented with the Johnstone Reserve bolt and chain mounted on a plaque – used to lock up the old goals against the fence (a cheeky Heath Treble and a pair of bulk cutters was the culprit behind the capture and framing of this special chapter of Johnsotne Reserve history).
- But most of all past players and friends united again and reminisced, laughed and shared memorable day
