Online HV Umpire Registration & Zone Ump Positions 2010

The 2010 Online Umpire Registration and Availability Form has now been launched on the Hockey Victoria website and can be found at https://reg.sportingpulse.com/v5/regoform.cgi?aID=3026&formID=1851&nh=1

Please read and complete all sections of the Registration Form as accurately as possible. Please note that all umpires must now have a minimum accreditation level of Beginner Umpire. All accreditations will be checked and only qualified umpires will be rostered.

ZONE UMPIRE DEVELOPMENT OFFICERS

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Expressions of Interest are being sought for the positions of 10 Umpire Development Officers (UDO) to oversee the development of Umpires in all 10 Zones across Hockey Victoria.

The key elements to the positions include:

• Provide face to face Beginner (Level 1) Umpire Courses in the Zones (2 each year);

• Conduct assessments and umpire coaching at Beginner Level (Level 1) – servicing the lower levels through to mid pennant grades;

• Target of 60 (metro) and 40(regional) newly accredited umpires with Beginner (Level 1) accreditation across Victoria;

Funding is available for the Umpiring Development Officer (UDO) to conduct courses and assessments.

UDO will be guided by HV High Performance Umpires, and be reportable to the HV Development Manager, and the respective Zone Coordinator.

Mouthguard professional fittings by a qualified dentist Wednesday March 10th 5.00pm – 7.00pm at FHC. No booking required – just turn up!

Who: Peter Newton Dentist

When: 5.00 and 7.00 pm Wednesday 10th March

Cost: $88 can be paid at time of collection. Claimable if you have dental cover.

Furniture Wanted

This year footscray have a couple of players coming from overseas to play for the season. We are after any old or new furniture that you may no longer require to help furnish the house they will be renting (trying to reduce their cost while living in Oz). They are only here for 6 months so the furniture can be returned to you once they leave, should you require it be returned. If you can help out in any way please contact Tom Griffin 0424 617 363 or Scott 0412 875 528. We require anything from beds to knives and forks!
