Women’s Selection Criteria & Expectations 2010

SELECTION PANEL
The Ladies Selection Panel consists of the coaches of each team and any other person nominated by the Ladies Coaches, i.e Captains, Vice Captains or leadership group may be asked for input.

WHEN WILL TEAMS BE SELECTED?
The selection of teams will be completed on Tuesdays prior to the round or practice match played and e-mailed out to all ladies members Tuesday evening or Wedneday morning.  The coach will make every attempt to contact any player in the top 4 teams who have been selected to play in a different team than the week before on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. If the player is unreachable the team’s will be e-mailed to the Ladies Section and the coach will contact that player or speak to them at the next training session. Selection is always finalised on Thursday night – due to injury, pending fitness tests, attendance policy – changes to selection can happen after Tuesday.

CONFIRMED (C) or PLEASE CONFIRM (P)
All players are asked to check thier e-mails Wednesday evening. If your name has a “C” next to it – means Confirmed to Play. If your name has a “P” next to it – means contact nicole via e-mail nicolevirtuoso@gmail.com or sms 0424132715 by Thursday 5pm to confirm you know what team you are in.

After Thurdsday, Nicole will contact any player with a “P” next to their name and let them know what team they are in…HOWEVER Nicole has a life and would like to dedicate her time to more useful things than chase YOU up (not to mention saving money on phone calls). Please be diligent in checking where you are playing and respond if you have a “P” next to your name.

GOLDEN RULE

UNLESS YOU ARE TOLD OR E-MAILED OTHERWISE (please check your e-mails Wednesday), YOU WILL PLAY IN THE SAME TEAM AS THE WEEK BEFORE. AND UNLESS NICOLE IS NOTIFIED OTHERWISE, SHE WILL EXPECT YOU TO PLAY IN THE SAME TEAM AS THE WEEK BEFORE!

AND YOUR COACH as much notice as possible when you are unavailable to play.

The best way to communicate if you are unavilable is in an e-mail to nicolevirtuoso@gmail.com and to your coach. An UNAVAILABILITY LIST is also situated on the Ladies notice board. If you know you will be unavailable for any future round, please write your name on this list as soon as possible! Nicole will always check this list week to week.
