Footscray Hockey Club Women’s team took the 3 points at the Kennel in a close game vs Camberwell 1- 0 (Goal N Hancock). An awesome corner resulting in the first goal on the scoreboard mid way through the first half. Holding them scoreless for the remainder of the game under pressure was a commendable effort for the ladies. Keep it up, 3 wins and a draw will see us 2nd on the ladder going into round 2. Premier League Men were not so fortunate going down 4 – 0 to 2013 Premiers Camberwell.
