As we near our 2 biggest and busiest tournaments for the year we put the call out to any members who would like to nominate a shift for these events (before Mark White & Marj Aked send out a roster with names listed!) Why not let them know what shift you’d like to to and get your 1 x 3 hour canteen stint done and dusted?

Junior Country Championships : 24th & 25th May. A tricky tournament to fill as juniors and seniors play away this weekend and the tournament is at FHC! As all the alcohol will be moved into Bucks Bar we are opening canteen shifts to sell food and Gatorade/water juice etc to those enthusiastic 15+ members as well as adult members. The coffee station will be in full swing again and this too can be manned by 15+ members.

Men’s Senior Country Weekend: Queen’s B’Day weekend 7th, 8th & 9th June: We welcome all members to nominate a shift. In particular all Masters players and Metro 3 Senior players – this is the weekend where we ask for your help to run this major tournament. Metro 3 players in lieu of being rostered onto umpire – we ask that you do a duty over this weekend. The canteen, coffee and kitchen will be running. If you have any particular experience on the grill – we look forward to hearing from you.
