The FHC Women’s coaching appointments panel are extremely pleased with the following announcements:
WELCOMING WOMEN’S PREMIER LEAGUE RESERVES COACH: Phil Frost (Frosty) who brings to our club a mile long list of experience and knowledge in playing, umpiring and coaching accolades across Women’s & Men’s club and state hockey teams. Level 2 coach, umpire and first aider. 5 years Victorian Masters Men’s coach, 2 years Victorian Country Women’s coach. 6 years Hockey Geelong 1st Women’s coach. West Vic 1sts Women’s coach 1 year. Men’s Metro coach 6 years. Local Warnambool and Geelong competition coach 15+ years. Phil is the current talent identification officer for Hockey Victoria’s U13 State girls and Chairperson of selectors and has been for a number of years. He has been a selector from Victorian U13 girls right through to Victorian Vipers (and multitudes of Men’s masters teams) spanning across 20 years. Phil has played multitudes of State League Hockey for Geelong, and represented Victoria in the 40’s, 45’s and 50’s Masters for over a decade and represented Australia in the 45’s and 50’s teams 2008 – 2014. Captaining the 50’s 2012-13 and VC in 2014. I am sure you will all make Frosty feel very welcome and both Lachie and Frosty are looking forward to working closely together. WECOMING BACK WOMEN’S PENNANT A COACH: Mitch Dicken has been secured again as our Pennant A coach, having brought this team to the Preliminary Finals, he is itching to do one better next season. He’ll we working more closely with Frosty and Ando over next season to assist the development and preparation of our future Premier League squad players.
WECOMING BACK WOMEN’S PENNANT B COACH: Geoff Peacock will return as our Pennant B coach after spending 12 months coaching at Werribee. His heart is always at FHC and we know his passion, positiveness and enthusiasms will be welcomed at this level.
PENNANT C coach is still being sought. If you have any suggestions or know anyone who may be interested, please let us know.
NEW HV STRUCTURE & PENNANT D / METRO
FHC have recently learned that HV will be creating a Pennant D competition (entry purely by nomination) and restructuring the Metro 1, 2 and 3 to Metro A West and Metro B West. Karen Johnstone will coordinate our PD / Metro teams again in 2015.
STRUCTURE 1 (if successful gaining Pennant D)

Metro A West Red – John Marcola
Metro A West Blue – Amy Heath
Metro B West Blue – Jenny Hilton / Catherine Hamm
If unsuccessful in gaining PD FHC will enter 2 x Metro A and 2 x Metro B
