The Footscray Hockey Club would like to congratulate Peter Wroblewski who was recently awarded the Australian Football League (AFL) David Parkin Award for Coach Development.
The Deakin University prize is awarded to the student with the best academic performance in the Principles of Sport Coaching and the Introduction to Sport Coaching Practice in a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science Degree.
As busy as Pete is with his tertiary studies, Victorian Futures Academy and Premier League commitments; Pete can often be found in the cage coaching our up and coming junior goalkeepers and was recently tasked with preparing the Victorian Under 15 Goalkeepers ahead of their National Championship in Hobart, Tasmania.
No doubt Footscray has a top line coach in the making.
