Footscray Hockey Club Junior is running a food/toiletry drive for the West Welcome Wagon during June. This is a great initiative supporting refugees in our community.
We are seeking donations from our hockey families of new ‘in date’ non-perishable goods such as packaged food (lentils, tinned tomatoes, rice, oil, pasta), household items and toiletries to help during the coming winter months.
The donation bins are in the club rooms (thanks to Bunnings West Footscray for their generous donation). The challenge is on, which age group will donate the most?
