There have been some forces working against the timely re-build of our eastern field at FHC – weather, Covide 19 working regulations, the high number of rocks found beneath the surface, etc, but somehow our Polytan contractors have kept up a great rate of progress, and our field is motoring ahead in close relationship to the project’s published work-plan.
As the accompanying photos show, the rock piles are significant, and the first of the required trenches are starting to appear. Fortunately, larger pipes and drainage joint points are bigger than utilised on the previous field – hopefully a guarantee of no further flooding for our eastern field. The field is due for handover in early March next year.
