Karen took up senior hockey at the young age of 41 at the kennel and has been bulldog through and through ever since. After a season or two, she joined the masters women’s team and has been playing in both competitions.
Karen initiated the infamous FHC Summer Monday Mixed competition, which in its 10th season last summer, fielded a whopping 10 teams. This competition offers fun hockey in an inclusive, supportive and social environment for all members.
Karen joined the board in 2015 as our retail director and this is her tenth year ensuring the members, families and visitors are watered and well fed and supplied with uniform. Prior to this she was on the junior committee and has been a team manager for years. Karen assists with women’s pennant/metro administration and has supported junior transition from juniors to seniors.
