Happy New Year to all our members, families and friends. We hope that you have had a terrific festive season and summer holiday break. Looking to 2025 we hope to offer positive and rewarding hockey experiences for our members and hockey community. Our successful club is run by volunteers and every job, no matter how large or small is undertaken by an army of helpers. The 91st AGM was held at the club and well attended in person, online or via proxy. The club reported a year of consolidation and overall success and presented the new strategic plan. In the 2024 season, the club fielded 6 Men’s, 8 Women’s, 5 Masters and 22 Junior Teams, plus the U6 Hookin2Hockey Program. Looking ahead, the club is aiming to boost team numbers in every section, continue the come and try program that feeds our junior section, focus on delivering hockey operations for all memebers plus tournaments to a high standard and edge to further on field successes.
The club thanked retiring board member Rod Fuentes for his services on the board and special thanks to John Trail for auditing the books one last time. We fondly remembered the passing of Life Member Harry Swan.
