The club is saddened by the news of the passing of Life Member, Allen Heriot at the age of 96.
Allen’s Hockey career stretched from the 1940’s through to the 1960’s. His service was valued in all areas of the club, playing, coaching and serving on the Board.
He played in a Men’s first X1 premiership, was Men’s Club Champion in 1957 and club coach in 1959.
Allen was on the club’s Board for 13 years where he was President from 1959-61, and Vice President from 1951-55, and 1958.
Allen passed away in Wodonga and his funeral will be there on Friday 4th April.
