Footscray Hockey Club has taken out the Hookin2Hockey Club of the Year Award at the HV Aawards night.
After a tremendously successful Primary School Hockey Clinic campaign in February that saw 150 participants give Hockey a go at our 3 FREE Come and Try sessions. Over 50 converted into brand new U6, U8 and U10 participants.
This program is the life line of our club that feeds our grass roots programs with new pups at the Kennel.
Club President, School Clinic and Come and Try Coordinator Nicole Virtuoso accepted the award on FHCs behalf. Nicole won Hookin2Hockey coordinator of the year for Victoria in 2025 and continues to believe that it is at the grass roots level that the success of our Premier League Club was built and we need to place the most energy for our future.
