FHC is thrilled to announce that Lachlan Anderson, Ando, is returning to the kennel as the Coaching and High Performance Director across our Men’s, Women’s and Junior sections.
Ando brings a wealth of experience having coached Premier League Men & Women, Victorian State Teams and Hockey Club Melbourne as well as his depth of knowledge in high performance and development.
Ando will be responsible for the strategic leadership, development and operational oversight of all on field hockey programs at Footscray Hockey Club. This role is pivotal in driving coaching excellence, player development, and competitive success across all levels.
He will lead the Junior coaches and develop a club wide way of play that will assist our long-term athlete development goals. This will include developing and driving the curriculum for the bulldogs academy into the future.
Ando will work closely with Daniel Mitchell (PL Men’s coach), Paul Schram (Reserves Men’s coach + PL Assistant Coach), Craig Morton (PL Women’s coach), Phil Frost (Reserves Women’s coach) as well as Pennant/Metro coaches. Ando will also be assisting the Women’s PL team during times Craig Morton prepares to play in the Men’s PL team.
Welcome back Ando, we can’t wait to see you in the red, white and royal blue again.
