The U8 and U10 Hockey 5’s competitions kicked off at FHC with FHC, Werribee and Altona teams entered. The venue was superbly set up with black piping to mark the sidelines with out mini goals completing the set up. FHC’s Denis Heasly is the venue manager for every Saturday morning and we thank all our parent helpers who pitched in to set up and pack up.
Thank you to our amazing coaches, parent team managers, umpires and Mel Sanders as umpire developer and of course the kids who were terrific!
We are still welcoming new players to the program, with some just opting to do the Wednesday training sessions 5.30 – 6.30 or just the Saturday morning games, and many doing both Wednesday and Saturday. If you have a child who is interested, contact come-and-try@footscrayhockey.com.au
