Footscray Hockey Club pass on our condolences to the Hopkins family on the passing of Evelyn Hopkins. Mother of past and present players Sue Papadakis, Neville and Life member Greg, mother in law of Lynda Thomas and Con Papadakis and grandmother of Ryan, Lauren and Georgia.
Evelyn and husband, former Club Patron Wal, have been great supporters of our club for over the past 50 years.
The Men & Women will wear black arm bands in her honour this weekend. Masters the following week as there are no games this week.
We are thinking of the Hopkins family during this time.
