Teams 2017:
U12 A Mixed Ron Ford Shield
U12 Mixed Pennant North West
U12 Girls Pennant North West
U12 Mixed District North West

Pre-Season Training: During Pre-Season training we sort out the numbers of U12’s participating this year, and how many U12 teams we will be fielding in 2017. A variety of assessment and grading occurs by the coaches during training and during some practice matches. We aim to have selection completed before the Easter School Holidays. There will also be some practice matches immediately following the holidays in the lead up to Round 1.

Registrations & Fees
The 2-step registration and fee payment process MUST be completed as prior to your child’s first game. Your child will not be able to play unless they are registered, and registration can only be done on line.

  1. Hockey Victoria (HV) registration, including payment at the time (Under 10 $37.50; Aged 10-17 $50.00)
  2. Footscray Hockey Club registration, including FHC fee payment (Junior $230.00; Junior also playing seniors $355.00)

Please click here to be directed to the appropriate section of the FHC website for further information and links to the registration forms.

Please note that your child is not covered by Sports Cover insurance until the registration and payment with HV is completed.

All players should make sure that they have red and blue socks, as uniform clashes will occur during the season. It is compulsory for all children to wear mouth-guards and shin pads when playing or training. Numbered shirts aren’t necessary in U12 competition, but a FHC playing shirt and shorts/skort/skirt is essential. The Hockey HQ shop at FHC (for uniform and hockey gear) will be open at various times pre-season.
