The Boys and Girls Victorian Under 16 Secondary Schools teams both finished 4th in the recently held National touranament in Hobart. The boys drew the Bronze game but ended up 4th on a countback.The girls team had an excellent tournament as well.
Congratulations to Andrew Scanlon who has made the Australian squad and Oscar Allan who was selected in the shadow team. This is a great acheivement for the 2 players and a reflection of their hard work. Also, well done to all concerned who have guided the 2 boys over the last few years.With the development opportunities that Footscray Hockey club has in place we look forward to producing more high level players.
