A huge congratulations to Baden Jones, who will make his Burras debut at the Junior World Cup Qualifiers in Redcliffe, Queensland this week!
Baden was presented with his jersey by Burras Head Coach Simon Orchard ahead of the tournament, where Australia will be aiming to secure qualification for the 2027 FIH Junior World Cup.
Selection for the squad follows performances at the National Championships, alongside positional requirements and the identification of athletes with the potential to contribute to Australia’s future national teams.
An incredible achievement, Baden — everyone at Footscray is proud of you!
Good luck to Baden and the Burras for the week ahead!
