Thanks to life member and fundraising supporter Heather Shaw, she has secured a home game donation of a meat tray from her local butcher and raided her wine rack and pantry to come up with 2 terrific prizes for our first Home Game Meat Raffle. Raising $341 towards our fundraising thermometer for season 2014. Thanks Heather.
How can members support? Of course buy some tickets to be in the draw~! They are for sale in Hockey HQ during the week prior to the home round so Juniors, Seniors and Masters can get involved too and of course sold during the day on a PL Home day.
Additionally Heather is seeking any donations that can be used as 2nd or 3rd prizes from families or businesses – do you have something in your cupboard you are never going to drink, eat or use that you can pass on to Heather? Thank you in anticipation of your support!
The next Meat Raffle is this Saturday 17th May – drawn at around 9pm at the Op Shop Bingo Night. Winners will be notified so please put your mobile number on the raffle ticket!
