Our Club is very fortunate to have a wonderful introductory program for young boys and girls first coming into our Club. For five and six year olds, our ‘Star 6’s’ program under Julie-Anne Sheehan and her key helper Ania Kosowski has again been a terrific starting point for children looking for great teaching of the hockey basics over-layed with an air of strong positivity. For seven and eight year olds, our huge Super 8’s program (coordinated off-field by Nicole Virtuoso and on-field by Brendan Sheehan) has again supported 80 youngsters in progressing their skills and their love for our great club.
On Wednesday night August 23 (5.30 – 6.30 pm) these players will be celebrating their great season with a presentation function followed by a player-party. All are welcome to come along and cheer for these kids and celebrate their development as great young players. See you on the 23rd!
