Hockey 6’s & J-Ball is on again at FHC!

Come and Try Night Monday 4th February, followed by a 7 week season.

Hockey 6’s

Hockey Sixers is a new, social version of Hockey. With 6 players on ¼ size pitch using padded walls the ball is always in play! The sticks and the ball are still the same as normal Hockey, there are just less players, more touches of the ball and more goals. Whether you are looking for a way to get back into Hockey or just want to get your fitness up before the main season starts, Hockey Sixers is the perfect way to get your friends together and play or come along and meet some new people!
Season Dates:
Hockey Sixers – Season Start -Monday 11 February –  6.30pm – 8.15pm (exact time to be confirmed after the final Come & Try and is dependent on registrations received)
Hockey Sixers – Season Finale – Monday 1 April – 6.30pm – 8.15pm (exact time to be confirmed after the final Come & Try and is dependent on registrations received)
Duration is 7 weeks. There will be no fixtures on Monday 11 March due to the Labour Day Public Holiday.
Due to the public holiday we will only run one Come & Try night instead of two to fit the 7 week competition into Term 1.
What to Wear/Equipment: Hockey Sixers – Comfortable clothing, Hockey Stick, Protective equipment (mouthguard, shinguards)
Cost:
$100 team fee (paid by the team manager as they register the team)
$70 Individual player fee to be paid by each player (including the team manager if they are playing) after the team has registered

J-Ball

J-Ball is a new, social version of hockey. With 6 players on ¼ size pitch using padded walls the ball is always in play! It can be played by anyone regardless of their gender, fitness or skill level. It is easy to play, not too physically demanding and with all the equipment provided we’ve created a game where Anyone Can!

J-Ball – Come & Try  – Monday 4 February – 7pm
