A huge four days of hockey wrapped up on Sunday with our rep teams travelling to Bendigo and Shepparton to compete in the 2021 Junior State Championships.
Footscray Hockey Club had representatives in all 6 Wildcats teams, with the Under 18 Girls team made up of a mix of players, mostly from Western Wildcats and the Southern Sharks.
Three teams came away with medals, but most of all our athletes enjoyed four days of hockey, learning and friendship, gaining the experience of playing in a tournament setting with team members that they had not played with before.
