After being delayed by COVID, we were finally able to hold our final NAIDOC Week event for 2021.
We are so lucky to have been joined by Olympians Mariah Williams (Wiradjuri people) and Joel Carroll (Larrakia nation) and Premier League player, Caley Manzie (Ballardong people of the Noongar nation) in talking to the kids at
Newport Gardens Primary School.
The kids got to talk to the players about mob, smoking ceremonies, overcoming adversity with injuries and being an Olympian.
Thanks to Newport Gardens Primary School for taking part in the program!
Thanks also to Howard Nicklas for his tireless work in organising this event and all of our NAIDOC Week activities.
