We are incredibly proud to be named Club of the Year in the Hockey Victoria awards. Thank you to Hockey Victoria for selecting us for this honour.
We also congratulate Brunswick Hockey Club and Wangaratta Dragons Hockey Club on being finalists. They have both done incredible things at their clubs this year.
It wouldn’t have been possible to achieve this honour without the hard work of all of our volunteers, sponsors and members this year.
We especially acknowledge those members who assisted in running our NAIDOC week event, mental health sessions and other fundraising and inclusion events during the year.
We have plenty planned for next year and will continue to work on inclusion with SALT – Sport and Life Training and Victoria University, Melbourne Australia into next year.
We look forward to continuing our work to become a more inclusive, welcoming and healthy premier league club.
