It might have been 20 years since that whistle blew, but catching up with this crew made it feel like it was only yesterday. We spent the day reminiscing about that epic Grand Final, but more importantly, we celebrated the decades of friendship that have followed.
This reunion was about more than just a trophy; it was a celebration of women in sport and the village of people who support us to play the game we love.
We were so lucky to have the majority of the team back together, joined by the people who made that season so special: our coach Glenn Lloyd, team manager David Pearce, the legendary mascot Andy Fithall, and our number one fan, Jody McFarlane.
A massive thank you to everyone who made the effort to get down to the club. It was a day full of laughs, stories, and success. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
