It’s been a difficult week for the club learning our lovely Katey Tarr passed away peacefully after a short illness. With Pride round, we celebrated inclusion, diversity and being a welcoming club, to which Katey loved her time playing hockey.
The Women’s Pennant D team held a minute silence before the game with her family and big crowd on the sidelines. The team coming away with a 3 – 1 win vs Yarra. Phylicia Taylor winning the Pride round medal and dedicating the medal to Katey and presented this to her family after the victory song.
We will always remember Katey.
