A day full of grit, fight and plenty of heart from our four senior teams! ❤️💙
🏆 Men’s Metro 1 – PREMIERS!
After a tense 0–0 battle against Hume, our M1s held their nerve in the shootout to secure the win and the premiership! What a finish!
🥈 Men’s Pennant B
Trailing Mentone 3–1 at three-quarter time, the boys produced an incredible comeback to level the match 3–3 and force a shootout. It wasn’t to be, with Mentone prevailing 4–2, but an enormous effort to fight their way back into the contest.
🥈 Women’s Pennant B
A hard-fought 1–0 loss to Camberwell, with the only goal coming from a penalty stroke. Our women gave everything and can be incredibly proud of their effort.
🥈 Men’s Pennant D
The boys fought hard until the final whistle in a 3–0 loss to Essendon, finishing their season with determination and pride.
Congratulations to all four teams on reaching the Grand Final and representing Footscray so proudly. A special congratulations to our Men’s Metro 1 Premiers! 🎉
