Pride Round promotes LGBTQI+ inclusion and acceptance in community sporting clubs to make sure that no player, official or fan has to choose between being
themselves or the game they love. We at FHC hope to create an inclusive environment all year round but this specific round on the hockey calendar gives us
all an opportunity to say, ‘We Stand With You’. Hockey Victoria will once again award medallions at Premier League games for an individual from each team who
demonstrates an inclusive attitude, courage, leadership and fair play on the field.
So get behind this initiative from August 2nd -7 th
Wear your rainbow socks in Premier League (or any other team if you have them). Collect a rainbow ribbon/badge/wrist band from the canteen to wear on the day,
arrange an afternoon tea with your team mates, wear rainbow laces or facepaint or any other relevant activities your team can think of. Let’s all do our bit to show that
FHC is a club for all.
LET US ALL FEEL PRIDE BECAUSE NO ONE SHOULD EVER FEEL SHAME FOR JUST BEING THEMSELVES!
