Wonderful to be represented at the Hockey Victoria’s Women and Girls breakfast this morning by Footscray Hockey Club President Nicole Virtuoso, coach Tania Bezzobs, future leader and Youth Advisory Committee member Maddie Bezzobs and Premier League Men’s coach Dan Mitchell.
The event was held on the beautiful Yarra River on the lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Woiwurrung language group of the Kulin nation.
This morning we celebrated First Nations women in sport with inspirational speakers MC Jaynaya Winmar, Auntie Pam Pederson and Amanda Reid. And a huge shout out to Breast Cancer Network Australia for helping people with breast cancer and their families.
