FHC were proud to have several players selected for the Hockey Club Melbourne teams who competed in home and away matches across the Hockey One Tournament with their interstate counterparts and local representative teams. They ventured interstate to Sydney vs NSW Pride and Canberra Chill where both the boys and girls teams won all of their games.
Boys Team: Baden Jones, Angus Le, Ashton Schram, Jack Tamblyn, Tom Templeton, Lachlan Toussaint, Charlie Gunn
Girls Team: Jaime Lam, Ruby Gorton, Erika Digney, Evelyn Boyle, Georgia Taylor
The program offers athletes exposure to a high quality competitive training environment in which they will be acquiring and mastering technical skills, including advanced skills, identified through the latest international tournaments. Other key factors include strength and conditioning, game awareness and decision making, which will be fostered through the use of modified games and full field match play. Athletes will experience a series of fitness tests and provided with a strength and conditioning program to carry out remotely under the guidance of the trainers at the VIS.
