We are saddened to hear the sad news of Annette, beloved wife to life member Harry Zacariou, who passed away peacefully surrounded by family last week.
Annie was a staunch behind the scenes supporter of Harry Zac while he undertook the various board director and volunteer roles within the club that earned him a life membership in 1995. Since then, Harry has continued to be a HUGE club contributor, with his family support in the role of Women’s PL team manager, club patron and his infamous come back to play 500 games after suffering a horrific injury himself.
We extend our condolences to their children Jessica and Michael and all their family and friends.
Annie has always supported Harry’s passion for hockey so all members of Footscray Hockey Club will be wearing black arm bands in her honour at this weekend’s full field games.
