Footscray Hockey Club celebrated the 2026 senior season with a fantastic Presentation Night at Whitten Oval, bringing together players, coaches, volunteers and supporters to recognise another wonderful year of hockey.
With the AFLW in action at Whitten Oval, it was a terrific atmosphere and a fantastic venue to celebrate the achievements of our senior and masters teams, recognise individual award winners and acknowledge the many people who contribute to our club.
The evening was also brought to life through a wonderful visual presentation prepared by Lisa Walters, celebrating our club members and capturing the people and moments that made the 2026 season special.
A special congratulations to Isaac Grimes, who was named our 2026 Senior Club Person of the Year, recognising his valued contribution to Footscray Hockey Club.
Throughout the evening, we celebrated our Best and Fairest and Runner-Up award recipients across our men’s and women’s senior teams, alongside our Masters Best and Fairest winners.
We also recognised the dedication and commitment of players who achieved significant club games milestones, including Heather Shaw and Julie-Anne Sheehan, who each reached an incredible 700 club games!
A huge thank you to Liam Braithwaite for his work organising Presentation Night, and to Shannon Braithwaite, Jacob Jennison for MCing, and the broader Board for their efforts in planning and supporting such a successful evening.
Thank you also to our coaches, team managers, volunteers, umpires, families and supporters for everything they contribute throughout the season. It is the commitment of our club community, both on and off the field, that makes Footscray Hockey Club such a special place.
Congratulations to all our 2026 award winners and milestone recipients!
