Women’s 35As
The FHC Women Master’s A grade team has had a great start to the season showing some real promise when we field a full team. Of the five rounds played the team has won three and lost two. The three games won were with the full 11 and even once with a bench. The team is squarely placed in the middle of the ladder with 6 points. We welcome newcomer to the 35+ team Filemena Bruce who has been a highlight in our matches and Mirella Di Benedetto has taken on goalie with flair and finesse, well done to the two of those players.
Men’s 50 A’s
3 games so far with strong wins over Power House and Greensborough and a loss to Yarra Valley after conceding 3 soft goals in the first 15 minutes. They have a good list which will be tested during the year with National duties and injuries but anything less than a finals appearance will be disappointing.
