The Hockey Victoria U13 Academy Program is the entry point
into the HV High Performance Pathway. The Academy training
involves a variety of physical testing, skill based trainings,
modified match play and full field match play. Included in
the Academy Program will be using video analysis to review
and complement the on-pitch training sessions.
The U13 Academy is comprised of 50 athletes; 44 field
players and 6 goalkeepers. The timing of the Academy
program is based on the U13 Australian National
Championships to best prepare athletes for team selection
and ultimately the National Championships.
Athletes and coaches involved in the U13 Academy program
will be overseen by the High Performance Athlete and
Coaching Manager.
